AN1: In emergencies, quick decision-making is crucial, and an autocratic leader can act swiftly without consultation. For example, during a production crisis, an autocratic leader can implement immediate solutions to minimize downtime.

AN2: Conversely, for strategic planning or innovation, a democratic style encourages diverse perspectives and collaborative problem-solving. This can lead to more innovative and well-rounded decisions.

AN3: This leads towards the conclusion that the nature of the task significantly influences the choice of leadership style. Leaders must assess whether speed or collaboration is more critical to achieving the desired outcome.

KN: Another factor is the experience and skills of the team. A highly skilled and experienced team may thrive under a democratic style, while a less experienced team may require the guidance of an autocratic leader.

KN: It depends on the industry

AN: The military requires less creative thinking while a stationary business needs more creative decisions and will want a more democratic style of decision making

AN+: Being autocratic in the military or healthcare allows for faster decisions which is curtail for quick action and increases their efficiency

AN+: By democratically designing stationary they the stationary production business can make designs and decisions that appeals to the most amount of people hence maximizing the number of potential customers and a potential increase in the number of sales





KN: Whether the market is dynamic or not

AN: If it's changing rapidly then swiftly keeping up with trends requires autocracy but if the market is less dynamic then a democratic approach is needed to take time in innovating and improving a product and hearing out everyone's opinions and judgement

AN+: By being autocratic they spend less time on decision making and adapt faster which allows them to give customers what they want and hence expand their customer base

AN+: By being democratic and taking time to come up with innovative solutions the quality of the products are improved as more thought is being put into it and there's enough time to conduct and consult market research which helps retain customers due to good products

AN+1: This leads to faster decision making hence time efficiency

AN+2: Also clear instruction results in reduced errors.

AN+3: As employees focus on the task and not on brainstorming hence increases efficiency.

KN: The skill and experience of the workforce determine in what manner they have to be handled.

APP: E.g In a marketing agency, a leader adopts a democratic style, allowing experienced designers to contribute creative ideas.

AN+1: This leads to increased employee creativity as employees feel their opinions are valued so innovative ideas.

AN+2: Also as employees are given autonomy so improved job satisfaction.

AN+3: Thirdly better decisions are taken due to the diverse perspectives of people.
