KN: A customer might want a branded pair of trainers for comfort and fashion while he only needs a basic pair of shoes to protect his feet.
APP: A customer might buy a basic pair of shoes in order to protect his feet in day to day use, while he will buy a branded pair of trainers for comfort during his training time.
AN: This allows the company to charge higher prices as they are aware of the customer damands for their trainers, which will differentiate them from other brands and earn higher prices.

[kn] A customer would need a basic pair of shoes to protect their feet and allow them to walk comfortably. They may want designer trainers for style and status.
[app] for example, Nike Air Jordans are not essential, but people buy them for fashion and social status.
[an+] This makes the customer feel more connected, allows them to access modern features, and gives them social recognition.

[kn] A need is something essential for survival, while a want is something that brings extra satisfaction but isn’t necessary. [AP] A consumer only needs a basic pair of shoes to protect their feet for daily use. [AN] However, they might want a branded pair of trainers because these give them style and comfort, create a sense of status, and allow them to express their personality, making them more desirable even though not essential.

[KN] They may want it for style or social status.
[APP] For instance, people want Nike shoes because they are associated with brand image. Wearing them consumer will feel fashionable and part of the trend, however, unbranded shoes companies only focus on price and basic functonality like protection.
[AN] Thus Nikes compites on endorsements and lifestyle market and creates desirable brand image, moreover, this will create higher profit margin as customers are willing to pay for the logo.

The shoes will only be a need as they will only perform the basic but crucial task of foot protection, but a pair of trainers is a want as it has added value. Foaming and leather coating. Since it now has something other shoes don't the business would charge higher prices for them which would limit it's access to people making it a luxury as it deals with customer satisfaction, ultimately making the trainers a want and the basic pair of shoes a need as they are essential and available to everyone.

[KN]: A want is something desirable for style, image, or status, while a need is something essential, such as protection for the feet.
[APP]: For example, a consumer may want Nike trainers for their style and status, but they only need a basic unbranded pair of shoes to walk comfortably.
[AN]: This happens because: Branded trainers create a strong brand image that attracts customers, owning them gives people a sense of identity and status which allows businesses like Nike to charge higher prices and build customer loyalty.

[KN] A want is for status and style whereas a need is for survival.
[APP] A person might prefer a branded nike trainers over a unbranded trainers because of the brand image which puts the customers at ease. A basic unbranded trainers does provide comfort and protects your feet which is a need but it can't provide luxury, and they are charged lower prices as the material used for them is relatively cheap.
[AN] Therefore, A branded pair of trainers satisfies the customers self esteem and due to it being a well-known brand it adds up to their status aswell. And for customers it's more reliable to buy from a well-known brand as they are guaranteed the quality already.

(kn) A want is something desired for reasons like status or style, while a need is something essential, like basic footwear for protection.
(app) For example, an average consumer might need an unbranded pair of shoes for foot protection but may want branded trainers like Nike to show off their design or brand.
(an) This specific want is heavily based on the brand image, wearing Nike may create a sense of identity, making it more desirable, but it may not be necessary for the basic need of footwear.

[KN] A need is something essential for survival, such as clothing or shoes for protection. A want is something desirable but not essential, often linked to status, style, or personal preference.
[APP]For instance, a consumer may only need a basic pair of shoes to protect their feet when walking to school or work. However, they might want a branded pair of trainers, such as Nike or Adidas, because of the style, reputation, or celebrity endorsements.
[AN]This shows that while their basic need (footwear) can be satisfied with a cheaper pair of shoes, the branded trainers meet psychological and social wants — such as feeling fashionable, fitting in with peers, or showing status. As a result, demand for branded products can be driven more by image and brand loyalty than by functional necessity.

(KN) A consumer needs shoes to protect their feet — any basic pair will do the job.
( APP) But they might want Nike trainers because they look stylish and have a cool brand image. The brand makes them feel confident or trendy, even though they aren’t needed.
(AN) This shows that a want is about personal image or status, while a need is just about function.

(KN) A want is usually for status and style while a need is a necessity and is based on the basic use of an object.
(APP) For example, customers may ''want" a branded pair of shoes to show them amongst their friends and get noticed. On the other hand, customers would "need" a basic pair of trainers in order to protect their feet, without which, their feet would be fully exposed, vulnerable to rusted nails and other dangerous items.
(AN) This means that the branded pair of shoes would be charged higher as they are a symbol of status and style and are not a necessity, whereas the basic pair of trainers would be charged at a lower price as they only fulfill the basic objective of protecting customer's feet and are unbranded.

(KN)
A need is for something basic to live or work. Shoes are needed to protect feet.
A want is for extra things that give style, fashion or status, like branded trainers.
(APP)
For example, a student may need simple shoes to walk to school safely. But the same
student may want branded trainers becuase they look cool and show style.
(AN)
This shows that needs are about survival and function, while wants are about feeling good or showing off. Businesses make more profit from wants like branded trainers
because people pay higher prices even though only basic shoes are necessary
