[KN] Shifting from primary to secondary creates higher value-added output, more jobs, and faster economic growth.
[APP] Vietnam has moved from mainly farming to producing electronics, clothing, and machinery in factories.
[AN] Manufacturing creates higher-value goods, increases exports, and provides better-paying jobs, which boosts economic growth and helps raise living standards.

[KN] Industrialistion helps to add value to raw materials.
[APP] For instance, a forestry company starts to make the furniturs themselves and export them
[AN] This will help the company to set a high prices leading to greater revenue.
[AN+] This will lead to a boost in GDP as well as boost foreign exchange

[KN] Creates more jobs
[APP] As now the forestry company would be making the furniturs themselves, they would need more employees them bofore for different rols such as turning the trees in to wood then making it into furniturs like tables.
[AN] Thus this will lead to a fall in unemployment as now more people has job leading to their income level improvment.
[AN+] Moreover government will have to spend less on unemployment benefits and more on betterment of the country.

[kn] primary to secondary increases production and efficiency.
[app] for example, China shifted from mainly farming to manufacturing.
[an+] this will increase gdp, create jobs and increase growth.
[kn] primary to secondary also advances technology.
[app] for instance, South Korea invested in technology, moving from simple agriculture to advanced manufacturing.
[an+] this will increase productivity, produce higher quality goods and give a global competitive edge.

Reason 1: Higher profits in manufacturing.
[KN] Manufacturing in the secondary sector often generates higher profits than selling raw materials in the primary sector.
[APP] For example, turning raw cotton into clothes allows firms to charge more than simply selling the raw cotton.
[AN] This means businesses can increase their revenue, which can then be reinvested into expansion and new technologies.
[AN+] In the long run, this encourages industrialisation, attracts foreign investment, and creates more jobs in urban areas, boosting overall economic growth.
Reason 2: Economic development and job opportunities.
[KN] As a country develops, there is more demand for manufactured goods, which encourages growth in the secondary sector.
[APP] For example, in countries like China, industrialisation provided millions of factory jobs as consumer demand rose domestically and abroad.
[AN] This allows workers to move from low-paid agricultural jobs into better-paid manufacturing roles, improving living standards.
[AN+] Over time, this structural shift can reduce reliance on agriculture, diversify the economy, and make the country less vulnerable to fluctuations in global commodity prices.

KN1: A country might move to the secondary sector as there are more chances of profits.
APP: A person would be able to earn more if he is selling cotton clothes rather than raw cotton.
AN: Through selling cotton clothes he will be able to increase added value to the raw materials, due to which he will be able to charge higher prices from the customer, due to which the revenue of the business will increase, leading to a higher profit margin earned, which can be reinvested in the business later to improve the quality of the clothes, introduce new designs or to open up a new branch.
AN+: This will enable the business to target more customers, ensuring long term survival, thus, encouraging more businesses to switch to secondary sector.

KN2: A country also switches to primary sector as there are more job opportunities on the sector.
APP: For instance, if a toy factory opens up, it is going to employ hundreds of people.
AN: Due to this more employment levels will increase, did to which more people will be able to earn a stable income,, leading to increase in their purchasing power, which will improve their living standards, thus, boosting economic growth.
AN+: Moreover the government will also not have to support these employed people financially, due to which that finance can be allocated elsewhere, like building more schools and hospitals or improving infrastructure, leading towards increase in national welfare.

KN = A country might want to encourage the growth of its secondary sector to make higher profits and increase overall economic growth.

APP = For example, China encouraged manufacturing businesses to expand production and exports, which helped it to become one of the largest exporters and the fastest-growing economy.

AN = More profit from businesses means that the government can earn more tax revenue, giving the country more money to spend on vital projects like healthcare and roads. It also creates jobs for many people, reducing poverty and inequality. Growth in manufacturing increases exports, which improves the country’s balance of trade and foreign exchange earnings, so improving the country's financial position.

KN = Another reason why a country move from primary to secondary sector is the depletion of natural resources on which they rely on

APP = F.e due to overfishing in north sea, the size of uk fishing industry is decreased to the size of 50 years ago

This makes the primary sector unsustainable in the long term, which leads many businesses to close down and causes many people to lose their jobs. As a result, the country is forced to look for alternative options, leading to growth in the secondary sector. The secondary sector also generates higher profits, so the government earns more tax revenue.

Knowledge: As global demand for manufactured goods grows, countries see opportunities to export and grow their economies.
Application: Bangladesh capitalized on global demand for textiles, shifting labor from farming to factory work.
Analysis: Export-oriented manufacturing creates jobs, boosts GDP, and brings in foreign currency, further reinforcing industrial development over agriculture.

A country may move from the primary to the secondary sector because manufacturing often brings higher profits than raw material extraction. For example, turning cotton into clothes is more profitable than simply exporting raw cotton. This encourages investment in factories, which boosts economic growth. It also creates jobs for workers, raises incomes, and allows the country to trade manufactured goods internationally, strengthening its economy. Another reason is that relying only on primary products can be risky due to price fluctuations in global markets. For example, if oil or crop prices fall, the country earns less income. By moving into manufacturing, such as producing machinery or electronics, the country reduces dependence on raw materials. This diversification makes the economy more stable, attracts foreign investment, and supports long-term development.

KN] A country may move to the secondary sector to make more money from raw materials.
app]secondary sector adds value to the raw material for example, cotton yarn from secondary sector is more expansive then raw cotton from primary sector.
an]Hence the added value allows the business to charge higher prices, which increases the profit margin, which can be used for expansion in the future.

(Reason1)
(KN)
A country may move to the secondary sector to make more money from raw materials.
(APP)
For example instead of just selling cotton the country can make clothes in factories.
(AN)
This adds more value and creates higher profits, which helps the economy grow.

(Reason2)
(KN)
Manufacturing creates more jobs than farming or mining.
(APP)
For instance building car factories or electronics factories gives work to many people.
(AN)
This reduces un employment and raises living standards so the government supports the shift to the secondary sector.

KN: A country might move from the primary to the secondary sector because manufacturing creates higher profits than raw materials.
APP: For example, turning cotton into clothes is more profitable than just selling raw cotton.
AN: This encourages businesses and governments to invest in factories, which creates more jobs. As more people are employed and incomes rise, the economy grows stronger, making the secondary sector more important over time.
