APP: E.g. if a branded pairs has this new feature that allows the shoes to automatically tie themselves, wheras a non-branded pair has simple shoes that suffice.
AN: Hence the person does not need a branded pair, as they can still 'survive' with the non-branded one as it performs all the functions required of a shoe (walking around), but would be willing to pay extra money for the features that would make them more comfortable and improve their quality of life.
