Re: 05 Explain the difference between the primary and secondary sectors of industry.
[kn] primary is the extraction of raw materials whereas secondary is the production of finished products through raw materials.
[app] For example, a primary sector business is extracting cotton, on the other hand, a secondary sector business is producing clothes from cotton.
[an+] this is adding value to the finished product, it creates jobs, and improved living standards.

Re: 05 Explain the difference between the primary and secondary sectors of industry.
[KN] The primary sector involves the extraction of natural resources or raw materials from the earth e.g. mining whereas The secondary sector involves the manufacturing or processing of those raw materials into finished goods
[APP] e.g. a company operates in mining of iron whereas companies like toyota utilize those raw materials and turn them into finished goods
[AN]thus, while the primary sector help supplying raw materials, the secondary sector develops these resources and turn theminto higher-value goods

Re: 05 Explain the difference between the primary and secondary sectors of industry.
The primary sector is the first stage in the chain of production as it provides raw materials. For example, a forestry business cuts down trees to supply the wood. This wood is then used by the secondary sector to manufacture the wooden chair.
Re: 05 Explain the difference between the primary and secondary sectors of industry.
KN The primary sector involves the extraction of raw materials, while the secondary sector is concerned with manufacturing goods from those materials.
APP For instance, mining companies extract iron ore, while factories then use that iron ore to produce machinery.
AN This shows the difference because the primary sector provides the essential inputs, the secondary sector adds value by turning them into finished goods, and together they form different stages of production.

Re: 05 Explain the difference between the primary and secondary sectors of industry.
KN:The primary sector involves extracting raw materials from nature where as the secondry resources focuses on manufacturing goods
APP:Forexample iron ore can be mined in the primary sector and then used in the secondary sector to make steel cars.the primary sector provides the raw materials needed and the secondary sector processes and transforms them into products which adds value by creating finished goods
AN:Therefore the difference is that the primary sector supplies inputs while the secondary sector turns them into outputs.

Re: 05 Explain the difference between the primary and secondary sectors of industry.
(KN) The primary sector is about getting raw materials while the secondary sector is about turning them into products.
(APP) For eg, iron ore is mined in the primary sector and then used in the secondary sector to make steel cars.
(AN) If the primary sector struggles factories may not get enough materials nd production can slow down nd goods become more expensive and so workers in both sectors might lose jobs.

Re: 05 Explain the difference between the primary and secondary sectors of industry.
(KN) The first sector is managing the extraction of natural resources, and the second manages the processing of raw materials into products.
(APP) For instance, iron ore mining is a main activity, whereas the utilization of the ore in the production of steel automobiles is a secondary activity.
(AN) This demonstrates the difference, as the secondary sector relies upon the primary sector for input before the goods are made and sold.

Re: 05 Explain the difference between the primary and secondary sectors of industry.
KN: Primary allows for less profit wheras Secondary has more
APP: A lumberjack will earn less than someone who processes the wood, builds furniture, and sells it to retailers.
AN: This is because the lumberjack has none/minimal added value in his product i.e. the wood therefore he will be able to put less of a price on his product, aswell as he has a higher cost price in terms of manual labour aswell therefore less profit margin, wheras the secondary industury has very processed materials therefore is able to add alot of markup on the sales price.

[APP] For example, mining iron ore is a primary sector activity, while using that iron ore to produce cutlery is a secondary sector activity.
[AN] The primary sector provides essential raw materials, which are then processed by the secondary sector to add value, resulting in finished products that can be sold to consumers or even retailers.

Re: 05 Explain the difference between the primary and secondary sectors of industry.
KN: The primary sector extracts raw materials (farming, mining), while the secondary sector transforms those materials into goods (manufacturing).
APP for e.g... wheat is extracted by farmers (primary) and is converted into flour and bread by a bakery (secondary).
AN Primary provides inputs, secondary adds value by turning inputs into finished products. Both are co-dependent with each other. There is greater profit involved in the secondary sector of industry.

kn] primary sector provide raw material and secondary sector take the raw material make it into final product and then sell it
ap] for example in furniture industry primary sector provide wood by cutting trees and secondary make furniture and sell to consumer with final product
an] so this is the difference between them that one produce natural goods in sort of raw material or naturally extracted from earth and other give final product to customer for using it
