One way a manufacturing business is affected is through higher costs. For example, it may need to install new filters to cut pollution, which reduces profits.
Another way is by changing production methods. For example, switching to recyclable materials can be costly but improves the company’s brand image.

(1st way)
(KN)
The business may have to buy new machines that cause less pollution.
(APP)
For example a car factory might need special filters for its chimneys.
(AN)
This increases costs , so profits may fail.
(2nd way)
(KN)
The business may need to change the way it makes products .
(APP)
For instance a drinks company might have to use recyclable bottles instead of plastic ones.
(AN)
This can make customers happier and improve the company's reputation.

KN: They can have less stock being produced
APP: Potential laws can restrict factories with huge gas production to only be functional for a few hours, or for factories to use more eco-friendly but less productive fuel.
AN: Therefore since the factory will be running for less time and be less productive for the hours it runs there will be an overall decrease in production therefore causing a loss for the business especially if the demands are too high, and can even cause the business to take heavy loans or potentially shut down if a lot of orders have already been taken and need to be dealt with immedeately. Overall this can be detrimental for brand image of the company, and less efficiency means a loss in customer retention aswell.

Point 1:
(KN) Additional environmental regulations can drive up the cost of doing business, since companies will have to invest in cleaner equipment.
(APP) To illustrate, a factory production facility might be required to put filters on factory smokestacks in order to prevent additional air pollution.
(AN) That is more costly, eats into profit margins, and can leave the firm less competitive if foreign competition does not have to adhere to the same constraints.
Point 2:
(KN) Legislation may also encourage changes in production processes to make the business more sustainable.
(APP) An example is that a company may be compelled to change to the use of reusable packaging materials.
(AN) This can cost in the short term but could enhance the company's brand reputation, attract green consumers, and boost long-term sales.

KN: New environmental laws can force factories to install equipment and change processes which leads to higher cost.
APP for e.g... a paint factory must install filters and switch to less harmful chemicals under new rules.
AN: This shows immediate costs and higher running expenses. Changing chemicals may require new training and slower output at first. Over time reputation improves but short-term profits get squeezed.

(KN)New environmental laws can raise costs for manufacturers.
(APP) for eg, when factories install expensive filters to cut pollution which increases expenses and reduces profits. They can also force firms to change production methods, such as switching to recyclable packaging like many food companies.
(AN) which is costly but helps improve brand image and attract eco-conscious customers

[KN]: New environmental laws may increase costs for manufacturing businesses.[APP]: For example, a car manufacturer may need to install expensive equipment to reduce carbon emissions.[AN+]: This raises production costs, which could lower profit margins unless the business increases prices.

[KN]The business might face increased costs.
[APP]For example a manufacturing business might need to install machinery which doesn't cause noise pollution which might be costly.
[AN]As a result, profit margins might decrease due to high costs leading to less profit to re invest in the business and the business might not achieve growth.
_______________________
[KN]The business might have to change production methods.
[APP]For example grocery bag manufacturing business might need to switch from plastic bags to paper bags.
[AN]This will lead to a better brand image as it complies with the laws which will attract more customers leading to increase in sales which will result in growth.

[KN]: One way is that new environmental laws may increase cost for manufacturing businesses.
[APP]: For example, a manufacturing business might have to install machinery which doesn't cause pollution might be costly.
[AN]: Thus, this would raise production cost, reduce the business's profit and no further investment could be made for the development of the business leading to the failure of business.
[KN]: Another way is that the business might have to change production methods that don't harm the environment.
[APP]: For example, a grocery store might have to start using paper bags instead of plastic bags.
[AN]: Thus, this would lead to increase in sale which would also lead to better brand image and long term growth of the business.

KN: New environmental laws can affect how manufacturers produce goods and manage waste.
APP: E.g factories may need to buy cleaner equipment to cut pollution and to spend more on recycling or waste treatment.
AN: These laws can increase costs, but also help businesses build a better public image by protecting the environment.

KN:New environmental laws can affect how manufacturing businesses operate and the costs they face.
APP:For example stricter pollution laws may require factories to install new filters or cleaner equipment which increases production costs and reduces profit. Similarly, laws may force firms to use recyclable or eco-friendly materials in production, which can be more expensive to buy and manage.
AN:This can lower short-term profits but may also improve the firm’s reputation and attract environmentally conscious customers in the long term.
