[KN] Number of employees can be used to measure the size as it shows that the higher the number of employees the greater the size of the business
[APP] For instance a large car manufacturing business may employ more workers as compared to a small car manufacturing businesses this shows the larger the business the more employees required
[AN] Hence this shows that with more employees higher output can be produced with more efficiency as compared to a business with less employees thus increasing the productivity of the business.

Re: 01 Explain how number of employees can be used to measure business size
{KN}The number of employees is one way to measure the size of a business, as it indicates how many people the firm employs to carry out its operations.
{APP}For example, a large company like Toyota employs thousands of workers worldwide, while a small local bakery may only have a few staff members. The difference in employee numbers reflects how large the organisation’s operations are and how much output it can produce.
{AN}However, using employee numbers alone may not always give a full picture. Some businesses, especially in the technology or capital-intensive sectors, can be large in terms of revenue or assets but employ relatively few people. Therefore, it’s best to use employee numbers alongside other measures such as turnover or market share for a more accurate view of business size.
