KN: More Fresh and innovative Ideas can not be brought into business
AN:less help businesses adapt to market changes and customer preferences
AN+: Thus giving a competitive edge to the business competitors

KN: New employees may have more experiences compared to old employees
AN: In this way they will be able to analyze less efficient ways of working compared to new employees
AN+: More wastage of time and resources done

[KN] Reduced chances of new ideas and practices being brought into the business. [An] This means that as the recruitment is limited only to internal applicants, the new ideas and methods that could have been possibly introduced as a result of external recruitment may not be possible. [AN+] This may reduce the ability of the business to remain competitive as it continues to follow the same methods and procedures without introducing any variations to it.

[KN] Increased chances of resentment. [AN] As in internal recruitment, the existing staff may feel jealous of the colleagues that have been promoted above them. [AN+] This may make the existing workers feel that they are not appreciated enough for their own handwork and deverve similar treatment. This demotivated them to perform up to their full potential and internal conflicts between staff mat rise.

[AN] Lesser diversity and no new employees with new ideas will be hired
[AN+] lower productivity levels as compared to external recruitment

[KN] unnecessary competition within the organization
[AN] The employees will feel jealous of other colleagues and might not follow orders
[AN+] Workplace environment will become non cooperative due to resentment

[AN]: bad working and non-supportive enviroment
[AN+]: effectiveness decreases.
[KN]: limited option of candidates
[AN]: less innovative ideas
[AN+]: While your company may have a lot of qualified candidates for specific positions, this isn’t necessarily true for every open role

[AN]When specific skills or experiences are required that may not be present within the current workforce.
[AN+]It could result in overlooking external candidates who may bring fresh perspectives and diverse skill sets.

[KN]Internal recruitment may be suspected to have internal politics and favoritism.
[AN]Employees may feel that promotions are based on personal relationships rather than merit, leading to decreased motivation.
[AN+]This impression of bias can negatively impact the workplace culture and employee satisfaction.

[AN]: employees can feel jealous of the employee recruited by the business
[AN+]: therefore, the self esteem needs of the workers would not be fulfilled creating demotivation hence, decreased efficiency

[KN]: lack of formality among the employees
[AN]: the employees would not consider a companion of theirs as a high authority member
[AN+]: resulting in a negative working environment

Kn: Makes other employees jealous
An: It will create a competition within the organisation and an incorporative environment within the company.
An+: Hence, efficiency and productivity of workers decreases.

Kn: Less innovative and creative ideas
An: When there won’t be any new employee but all the current employees, they won’t think out of the box as new worker comes from other organisations so they have many other perspectives to think for betterment of the company.
An+: This won’t increase the efficiency and productivity of the business .

(An) with internal recruitment there is no chance of newer ideas or innovation as the ideas are withdrawn from the same circle of employees.
(An+) this thus may limit the business from potentially developing and innovative ideas and also reduces their potential hence a disadvantage as the company’s success is hindered.

(Kn) May foster resentment amongst employees
(An) with internal recruitment while one person may improve their ranks the rest of the employees may foster resentment at the fact that they were not chosen and so in turn May resort to subtle disputes or not taking the new recruit seriously in a position of authority.
(An+) this thus may lead to time wastage and potential sabotage among the business hence a disadvantage.

[An] it is possible that sometimes appropriate employees are not available for the recruitment the business want to do
[KN] creates conflicts or tension b/w the employees who are not selected for the internal recruitment
[AN] this will lead towards lower efficiency as the employees which are not selected will be demotivated
[An+] in long term it can also result in the higher rate of employees turnover
