KN: Taylor’s theory promotes dividing work into small, simple tasks so that workers can specialize and become highly efficient.
APP: For example, in an assembly line, one worker may fit a single component repeatedly rather than making the entire product.
AN: This reduces time spent learning multiple tasks and increases output.
AN+: As a result, productivity rises and the business can produce more in less time

KN: Taylor believed managers should closely supervise workers to ensure they follow the most efficient methods.
APP: For instance, a manager monitors assembly line workers to ensure they follow standardized procedures.
AN: This reduces mistakes and ensures consistency in production quality.
AN+: Consequently, efficiency and output are maximized, reinforcing the link between pay and performance.

KN:Taylor’s theory assumes workers are motivated by financial incentives such as a piece rate system where pay is directly linked to individual output.
APP:forexample a factory worker earns more if they produce more units per day.
AN:this encourages employees to work harder and increase productivity.
AN+:as a result the business benefits from higher output and efficiency.

KN:Taylor emphasized selecting and training workers scientifically to match their abilities to specific simplified tasks.
APP:forinstance a machine operator is trained specifically for one type of machine rather than being given multiple complex tasks.
AN:this ensures workers are skilled for the job they perform reducing errors.
AN+:consequently production becomes more efficient and quality improves.

point 1: Pay motivates workers

(KN)
Taylor believed workers are mainly motivated by money. He suggested that people work harder if their pay depends on how much they produce, for example using a piece-rate system.

(APP)
For example, in a factory making shoes, workers could be paid extra for each pair of shoes they make above the target. This encourages them to work faster and produce more.

(AN)
Firstly, linking pay to output motivates workers to focus on producing more.
Secondly, it can increase efficiency because workers try to complete tasks quickly.
Thirdly, higher output means the business earns more profit, which benefits both workers and the company.

(AN+)
In the long run, this system encourages a culture of hard work and productivity. Workers are motivated to reach targets, and the business becomes more competitive while maintaining steady production levels.

Point 2: Right person for the right job

(KN)
Taylor also believed workers should be carefully selected and trained for specific tasks. Each person should do the job they are best at, and jobs should be simplified to make them easier and faster.

(APP)
For example, in a car factory, one worker may be trained only to fit tires while another assembles doors. Each worker focuses on their task to become skilled and fast.

(AN)
Firstly, matching workers to the right job reduces mistakes and waste.
Secondly, it makes production faster because workers can specialize and work efficiently.
Thirdly, employees feel more confident in doing tasks they are trained for, which increases output.

(AN+)
Over time, this ensures the factory runs smoothly, with fewer errors and higher productivity. Workers feel competent in their jobs, and the business benefits from a steady, skilled workforce that meets production targets consistently.

Feature1
[KN] Taylor’s theory focuses on financial rewards to motivate workers.
[APP] For example, a factory worker gets paid more if they produce extra products.
[AN] This encourages employees to work harder, complete more tasks, and reduces laziness.
[AN+] As a result, the business can increase output and make more profit.

Feature2
[KN] Taylor’s theory emphasizes specialization of tasks.
[APP] For example, each worker in a car factory only assembles doors, while another installs engines.
[AN] This makes workers faster, more skilled at their task, and reduces mistakes.
[AN+] As a result, production becomes more efficient, and the business can meet customer demand.

KN: According to Taylor's theory, employees are more motivated through financial incentives like the piece rate system in which they are paid per piece/unit they produce.
APP: For example, at a toy manufacturing plant, they workers will be working harder if they know they are going to be paid for it.
AN: Due to this, the output will increase and tjis may lead towards bulk buying of raw materials. Through this they can enjoy economies of scale and this allows them to offer lower prices to the final customers as the coat of production decreases too. This will increase their sales, revenue and profit too.
AN+: This can later be reinvested in the business so thus, this part of Taylor's theory ensures the factory's long term survival.
KN2: Taylor also emphasized I'm his theory on scientific selection and and training the employees to match their abilities to specific, simplified tasks.
APP: This means that the factory should observe and select their best employee and apply their methods of production on all the other employees and the factory manager should also try to give the employees the tasks which they are best at performing for example they should not make the person good at marketing the finance department's head.
AN: This will allow the employees to become experts at their relative fields, decreasing chances of errors and improving overall performance and efficiency at workplace, due to which they may get promoted. This improves their living standards and they become loyal to the firm.
AN+: Through this the factory/organization will be able to retain their culture. Thus, this feature of Taylor's theory helps an organization to avoid workplace politics and boost efficiency.

KN: Taylor’s motivational theory emphasizes the peace rate system, where workers are paid based on the amount of work they complete.
AP: For example, a factory might pay workers extra for every 10 products they assemble.
AN: Productivity rises because employees are motivated to produce more to earn more money. Accuracy improves as workers focus on completing each unit properly. Meeting targets keeps workers committed to their daily tasks.
AN+: Businesses can increase overall output in less time. Workers’ efficiency reduces wasted resources.

KN: Taylor also highlighted the concept of the “star employee,” whose performance others should learn from.
AP: For example, in a warehouse, a highly efficient worker sets an example for speed and accuracy that colleagues are encouraged to follow.
AN: Productivity improves as other employees try to match the star employee’s performance. Work quality increases because everyone learns the best practices. Motivation rises as employees compete to reach high standards.
AN+: Consistent high performance helps the business meet targets. It encourages teamwork and knowledge sharing among employees.

(K) States workers motivated by piece rate . (App) a clothing manufacturing business uses piece rate- every 10 clothes sewn receives such and such pay.(An) leads to increased productivity, workers completing required work quickly leads to free workers being used for other projects for competing against competitors- which leads to increased market share, leads to reinvestment for achieving set objectives.
(K)workers non flexible guidelines for work methods- company tests methods and best method used only nothing else. (App) same firm above- but tests- whatever method now obligated on employees to follow-no one can use own or introduce even minor for sewing clothes. (An) leads to firm's method tested-leads to greater output, or efficiency or etc, leads whatever strategy achieved quicker or better, leads business aim,plan-objective achieved.

[KN] Taylor believed workers are mainly motivated by money.
[APP] For example, in a factory, employees may work harder if they are paid per unit produced.
[AN] This pushes workers to increase output to earn more.
[AN+] As a result, the business can achieve higher productivity and lower average costs.

[KN] Taylor supported strict supervision and clear instructions.
[APP] For example, a supervisor tells each worker exactly how to complete a task.
[AN] This ensures work is done efficiently and reduces mistakes.
[AN+] In the long run, this creates a faster, more controlled production process.

[KN] taylors theory says workers are motivated by financial rewards, like piece-rate pay linked to output.
[APP] such as a baker in a bakery earning more if they make more cakes.
[AN] hence, employees work faster, produce more, and try to avoid mistakes to maximize their pay.
[AN+] this increases overall productivity and output for the business.

[KN] taylor also focused on training workers to match their abilities to specific tasks.
[APP] such as a bakery training staff to specialize in decorating cakes or preparing bread efficiently.
[AN] hence, employees work faster, produce higher-quality baked goods, and feel more confident in their tasks.
[AN+] this helps the bakery save time, reduce mistakes, and operate more smoothly.

[KN] Taylor said that one of the factors which motivates workers is money therefore they should be paid using piecerate method where pay is directly linked to output.
[APP] In a manufacturing business producing metal parts workers should be paid according to the metal parts they make.
[AN] Paying workers per unit encourages them to work faster because higher output leads to higher income. This increases productivity leading towards to increased production leading to higher sales and higher revenue.
[AN+] Thus this revenue can then me added back into the business e.g. money can be used in marketing and promotion of the product.
2.
[KN] Taylor suggested that managers should closely supervise employees and break tasks into simple steps
[APP] In a metalparts factory tasks such as drilling or assembling could be simplified and repeated.
[AN] This can increase efficiency because workers repeat the same task many times, reducing mistakes and speeding up production.
[AN+]Thus lowering training costs as tasks will be simplified and standardized.

[KN] Taylor believed workers are mainly motivated by money, so he introduced the piece-rate system, where employees are paid based on how much they produce.
[APP] For example, a factory worker might earn extra pay for every additional unit they assemble.
[AN] This links effort directly to income, encouraging workers to produce as much as possible to increase their earnings this not only motivates them but the production also increases.
[AN+] As output rises, the business benefits from lower average costs improving efficiency and increasing overall profitability.

[KN] Taylor also focused on scientific selection and training, meaning workers should be carefully chosen and trained to perform specific, simplified tasks that match their skills.
[APP] For instance, a manufacturing firm might train each worker to specialise in only one stage of the production process.
[AN] This specialisation reduces mistakes and speeds up production while ensuring the quality because workers become highly efficient at their assigned tasks.
[AN+] As processes become more consistent, the business achieves higher productivity and fewer production delays.

[KN]: One feature of Taylor's motivational theory was that workers are motivated my financial incentive i.e. piece rate system where pay is directly linked to individual output.
[APP]: For example, if in a furniture shop an employee produces many wooden chairs in a day in less time he/she would be paid as per piece (chair) made.
[AN]: Thus, this encourage employees to work hard which would increase the overall productivity of the business and would also lead to efficient work being done which would further lead to customer loyalty.
[AN+]: Furthermore, this would improve the brand image or reputation of business.

[KN]: Another feature Taylor emphasized was scientific selection and training of workers to match their abilities to specific, simplified tasks.
[APP]: For example, in a car manufacturing business one worker may be trained to fit tyres in the car while the other would be trained to fit doors, this way each worker focuses on their task to become quicker and better.
[AN]: Thus, assigning workers the right task would reduce chances of error which would lead to better quality of work being done which would further lead to increased productivity as workers are now experts in their tasks and motivated.
[AN+]: Furthermore, this would lead to work being done smoothly which would also lead to long term success of business.

[kn] Taylor’s theory says workers are motivated by pay linked directly to their output.
[app] for example, a factory pays workers for every product they assemble.
[an] This will lead to increased productivity, greater output, and focus on quantity.
[an+] This can result in potential for increased earnings.
[kn] Taylor emphasised scientific selection and training of workers to match their abilities to specific, simplified tasks.
[app] Teaching staff to specialise in packing products efficiently.
[an] This will increase efficiency, reduce training time for workers, and lower production costs.
[an+] This can result in consistent work standards.

1.KN: Taylor believed workers are motivated mainly by money, so he used piece-rate pay linked to output.
APP: For example, factory workers are paid for each unit they produce.
AN: This pushes workers to increase their speed and effort.
AN+: As a result, overall productivity and output for the business rise . 2.KN: Taylor emphasised scientific selection and training so each worker is matched to the most suitable task.
APP: For instance, a business trains workers to perform one specialised task efficiently.
AN: This reduces mistakes and improves work speed.
AN+: The business gains from higher efficiency and consistent quality.
