(KN) Workforce planning is important as it ensures that the right number of staff is available.
(APP) For example, universities need enough lecturers, admin staff, support workers etc. Workforce planning helps managing the staff effectively to make sure there are no shortages that could harm the teaching quality or student services.
(AN) This means that regular breaks are planned for the staff, leading to job satisfaction of employees. This means that the employee and employer relations will remain good, making it easier for the management to notice if a staff member is giving their personal best, nominating them for a promotion.
(KN) Workforce planning also helps manage costs effectively.
(APP) Universities have limited budgets. Workforce planning reduces overspending on unnecessary staff and avoids expensive emergency hiring.
(AN) This efficient staffing leads to lower costs, which means a higher gross profit is made, which further leads to a higher net profit. This would lead to a greater amount of money being reinvested into the university, enabling them to provide a better educational environment by spending more on extracurriculars such as a bigger swimming pool or better auditoriums etc.
*Note: I've attempted this as a 6 marker so please grade this out of 6.

(K)It is important for a strategy- Like how many to hire, how many will leave etc, helps in completing long term plan of business.(App) like in public armed forces there needs to be a plan of hiring personnel and managing them during a war- so current death rate is thousand per month so they plan hiring of two thousand to fulfill their offensive-which is the strategy-so important for strategy.(An) leads good strategy for achieving revenues or other objective so firm can focus on new one and make more progress. DEF: Workforce plan is a guideline as to the upcoming sales forecast, number of employees already employed, the number that needs to be employed, what roles are required and such key details made before a business opens hiring
KN: It is important to make before introducing any new changes.
APP: Example a university may be introducing a new department eg for neurology hence require proffesors, aswell as making sure adequete students are available to study it.
AN: Therefore the plan will allow the university to (1) determine exactly how many employees they will be hiring, hence allowing them to (2) estimate costs they will have to set for the new employees wages etc. as well as the hiring process therefore (3) allowing the university to set aside the funds well in advance therefore (4) preventing any monetary issues later
AN+: Hence the university will also not waste any money on hiring unnecessary roles therefore saving money and being effecient and they will also not be under-staffed by hiring less people therefore allowing smoother operations well in time.
AN+: Furthermore they will also have a sales forecast as to how well the new change will be recieved therefore making sure they dont waste money on an unnesscary change.
