(KN): Opportunity cost is the next best alternative that is given up when a choice is made.
(APP): If a student decides to take a part-time job, they spend hours working instead of using that time to revise for exams.
(KN)This may cause less time to study leading to low grades and less participation in extra activities. Thus may cause a long term harm if grades are affected.

KN: A student deciding to do a part time job would cost them the time which could have been allocated to alternative activities.
APP: For instance, if they didn't do a part time job, they could have spent the time studying or achieving another skill.
AN: Due to this, lesser time would be spent studying, which would affect their performance in exam and as thee would also be no leisure time, their mental health would ultimately be disturbed as well.

[KN] Opportunity cost is the next best alternative that is sacrificed when making a decision.
[APP] For example, if a student takes a part-time job, they spend time working instead of using that time to revise for exams.
[AN] This affects the student because:
1.) Their exam grades might fall since they have less study time.
2.) Lower grades could reduce future opportunities, like getting into a good university.
3.) In the long run, this might limit their career choices compared to if they had focused more on studies.

(kn) Opportunity cost is the loss of the next best alternative use of a resource, in this case it would be the students time.
(app) If the student spends time working at a part-time job, they may have less time to revise for their exams.
(an) The trade-off in their decision is shown by the opportunity cost, which would be the bad exam results that could have an impact on university applications.

[KN]Taking on a part-time job uses up scarce resources — mainly the student’s limited time and energy.

[APP]For instance, a student working 12 hours a week in a café will have less time available for revising for A Levels or joining school activities.

[AN]As a result, the opportunity cost is the study time or leisure they give up. This could lead to lower exam grades or less social interaction, which might harm their long-term career prospects compared to the short-term benefit of earning money.

[KN] The students decision to get the job has sacrificed its next best alternative.
[APP] For example, if a student chooses to work part-time the time spent working could have been used for revising for exams.
[AN] This means the opportunity cost of the job could be losing valuable study time which could lead to bad performance , lower grades.

[KN] Because the use of time is lost
[APP] For example is a student does a part time job he would focus less on his studies which may result in poor performance in his academics
[AN] Due to this he may not be able to go to a good university which would result in low paying jobs for him in future and poor standard of living

(KN)The opportunity cost will be the time lost for studying when the student will get a part time job.
(APP)For instance, if a student gets an after school job it will make it so he/she will have lesser time for homework or for preparing for tests which will lead to missed assignments and failed tests.
(AN)This in turn will increase mental stress on the student, leading to poorer work-life balance, thus worsening the student's living standards.

(KN)
Opportunity cost is the next best thing you give up when you make a choice.
(APP)
If a student gets a part time job , they might have less time to study or relax.
(AN)
This means the Opportunity cost could be lower grades or less free time, because the student choose to work instead.

A student working a part-time job faces an opportunity cost because their time could be used differently. For example, instead of working, they could revise for exams. The opportunity cost is the lower grades they may receive due to less study time.

KN: A STudent getting a part-time job faces opportunity cost because time spent working is time not spent studying or resting.
APP: for e.g... THe student might have to work overtime in the evenings and not as much time is spent studying.
AN: This could lead to lower grades and disappointment from parents.

[KN] A student with a part time job faces an opportunity cost because working takes time away from other important activities.
[APP]for eg, a student who works on weekends might miss school events or have less time to rest.
[AN] This can make them tired or less focused in class, showing that earning money means giving up other benefits.

[KN] A student’s decision to get a part-time job has an opportunity cost because the alternative use of their time is sacrificed.
[APP] For example, the student may work after school instead of revising for exams.
[AN] This means the opportunity cost is the chance of getting better grades, which could affect their future opportunities

[KN] The time lost due to the job would be the opportunity cost.
[APP] For e.g. The student can consume this time in further studies.
[AN] This would put further pressure on him to cover his/her syllabus in limited time available. (1) Also, during the exams since he/she have not practiced well, this would lead towards limited understanding of the topics, (2) increasing chances of errors (3) while attempting exams.
