KN: Theory X is in which people are treated in an autocratic style whereas in Theory Y people need to be treated in a democratic way.
AN: In this way both type of employees are treated in a way which helps them in staying productive
AN+: Due to increased productivity there is better output This leads to increase in sales
AN+: higher sales Helps business in getting a better share of the market.
AN+: Due to which business starts processing in bulk and it is possible for it to reach economies of scale now reducing it's cost of production.

[KN] Theory X managers believe employees lack creativity, while in Theory Y managers believe employees want to work and make decisions with less supervision. [AN] This means that employees in theory Y style are more prone to be flexibility than employees in theory X as they are dependent on managers for instructions. [AN+] This proves that in case of emergencies or crisis where there is a dire need for quick management and decision making, Theory Y employees are more likely to find possible solutions to cater the problem as compared to theory X employees. [AN+] Therefore, flexibility in theory Y workers may benefit business rather than theory X workers in long run if as it operates in a dynamic market where demand changes constantly. [AN+] In addition, flexibility of employees in theory Y may also reduce recruitment costs as workers are able to take on more than one tasks and delegation takes place. This may not be the case with theory X workers as they may only be able to perform tasks they are best at due to not being exposed to changes and opportunities to carter on new obstacles by themselves.

[KN]: people who dislike their work and require clarity in their instructions are managed through Theory X while people who are creative and willingly accept responsibility for all their tasks are managed through Theory Y
[AN]: therefore, Theory X people show the importance of increased supervision, external benefits and penalties while people of Theory Y highlights the role of job satisfaction and the encouragement of workers to perform without supervision of managers
[AN+]: thus, in a dynamic environment the employees of Theory Y would be more flexible as compared to those of Theory X
[AN+]: due to which their would be quick and efficient reallocation of resources within the business
[AN+]: resulting in stronger consumer base of the businesses operated by employees of Theory Y as compared to that of Theory X due to effective responsiveness towards the changes in the market

an: therefore, theory X managers are autocratic and don't ask for employees' opinions, while theory Y managers are democratic and encourage employees to convey their thoughts.
an+: the employees being managed by a theory X manager are likely to be less motivated as they don't feel important
an+: on the contrary, the employees being managed by a theory Y manager are likely to be more motivated as their thoughts are heard

[KN] THEORY X approach (Autocratic way) is used for the the employees who are less creative and are irresponsible where as THEORY Y
(Democratic way) is used for the employees who are creative and responsible and don't like to be much supervised
[AN] theory x managers don't consider the opinion of the employees whereas in theory y the opinion of the employee is highly valued
[AN+] both the approaches are used for the different types of employees which makes both of these types of employees (Autocratic/
Democratic) employees productive
[AN+] by applying the theory y on the people who like to work in the democratic environment it helps them motivate even more

[AN+]: theory y are innovative as compared to theory x

[kn]theory x states the view that some employees r lazy and fear motivated but theory y states the view that some managers believe employees are internally motivated.
[An]theory x states the view that some workers dislike work whereas theory y believe that workers are can derive as much enjoyment from rest and play.
[AN+]theory x managers believe that workers can derive as much enjoyment from work as from rest and play.
[An+]theory x managers believe that workers will avoid responsibility whereas theory y believe that will accept responsibility.
[An+]therefore, both theory x and theory y workers are dealt differently.

Adeesa read the question carefuly it says only one DIFFERENCE U HAVE PUT LIKE 5 DIFFERENCES IN EACH POINT....u should do it like this..

kn: theory X employees are dealt through autocratic leadership style as they are indolent whereas theory Y employees are dealt by democratic leadership style
An: employees that are creative and develop strategies for business are managed by theory Y approach and employees that need clarity with instructions and perform repetitive tasks are managed by theory X approach
An+ if an organization wants to adapt the culture of creativity and innovation ( working in dynamic market) will be inclined towards using theory Y approach and the business with an objective of achieving economies of scale through higher producivity is more likely to use theory X approach
An+ Employees are dealt the way it suits them and to increase their productivity some people are motivated different than other theory x assumes source of motivation is monetary and for theory y self esteem and recognition motivates employees
An+ however theory Y approach is more common and preferred over theory X approach because in theory Y a culture of trust is created between managers and employees leading to increased motivation
