13 Analyse how scarcity of skilled workers might affect a software company.
Hint: KN: Skilled labour is a scarce resource > APP: A company like 'KeepTruckin' may struggle to hire programmers > AN: This could increase wage costs or delay projects.

Possible Structure - 3 Marker
[KN] >> [APP] >> [AN]

[KN]Scarcity of skilled labour means the business cannot easily find the specialist employees it needs.
[AAP]For example, a software company like KeepTruckin may struggle to recruit enough experienced programmers.
[AN] This can lead to higher wage costs to attract talent, delays in completing projects, and reduced innovation capacity. As a result, the company may lose competitiveness if rivals bring products to market faster and at lower cost.

KN: Scarcity of skilled workers means there are not enough qualified employees available.

AP: For example, a software company may struggle to find expert programmers.

AN: This makes it harder to complete projects on time.

AN+: As a result, the company may lose clients, face higher wage costs to attract talent, and fall behind competitors.

> In KN we mention the "effect on company" not the DEF.
> The APP is TV
> In 3 Marker we don't have AN+ but we need to complete 3 elements in AN. Combining your AN & AN+, its making 3 elements of AN.
> Since KN, APP was [0], this means AN is not being marked.

Scarcity of skilled workers means that there are not enough qualified workers available. (Kn)
For example if a software company like Microsoft requires a 100 expert programmers and only 80 are available the company has to fulfill the remaining requirement with unskilled programmers. (App)
Due to such cases the wage costs for skilled workers increases, as without the skilled workers the company's project deliveries are delayed and the compatibility of the company is compromised as it's competitors can deliver projects more efficiently and timely. (AN)

> APP is Good.
> AN is 2/3, since delaying by us or delivering quick by competitor is a mirror statement.
> The KN was wrong, this is why its 0/3, else APP was 1/1.

[kn] skilled labour is a scarce resource as companies tend to keep them rather than letting them go and work for other companies [app]this would lead to companies to find it difficult to hire quality programmers [an] this could lead to inexperienced people taking longer to make projects make faults in programming and take time adjusting to the software the company uses

[KN]Inefficient work
[APP]For instance, Rockstar North starts programming a new game awaited by many. Having a low quantity of skilled workers puts burden on them, making them work more hours, demotivating them.
[AN]This delays the release of the game, making customers unhappy, destroying the brand image of the company.

KN] Scarcity of skilled workers means the software company does not have enough trained staff to complete its work properly.

[APP] For example, if there are too few programmers, projects may be delayed or the company may have to pay higher wages to attract workers.

[AN] This can reduce profits and make the business less competitive, as customers may choose other companies that deliver faster and better results.

(KN)Workers are important for the business ad without them business cannot function
(APP) eg a software company would need a coder, tester , project management etc
(AN)If these workers are scarce, deadlines may be missed, and make client dissatisfied . Leading to bad company reputation as it would be known for unreliability, eventually having limiting growth opportunities.

(KN)It will make labor harder to come across for the business.
(APP)For instance, due to a lack of educational institutes for software development, it will make it so lesser people will have the qualifications and the skills to become software developers, making labor available to hire for the company sparse.
(AN)This in turn will mean that labor will be more expensive, making it more difficult for the business to improve it's products and upgrade it's software, leading to a worsened brand image and thus decreasing in sales revenue generated by the business.

{KN}Scarcity of skilled labour means there are lack of specialized wokers available.
{APP}For example a business such as restraunt may face problem finding specialized chef for their restraunt which make good food.
{AN}Highering specialized worker require high salaries which may lower restraunts profit
for a particular period of time but hey would inc when customers start liking the dishes made by the chef.

[KN] Scarcity means resources are limited and cannot meet all wants. [AP] software company may struggle to find enough skilled programmers or developers. [AN] This can increase wage costs as the business must compete to hire talent, it may delay projects and product launches, and it can reduce innovation if there aren’t enough workers to develop new ideas.

[kn] Scarcity of skilled labour may increase wage costs, as the business has to offer higher salaries and benefits to attract and retain employees.
[app] A software company in Pakistan faces a shortage of skilled app developers, to attract them, it must offer higher salaries and bonuses than competitors.
[an+] the overall labour costs will rise, profit margins will fall, limiting funds available for reinvestment into research or expansion, and it may lose competitiveness

KN: Due to scarcity of skilled workers the software company would not be able to hire specialized labour.
AN: A software company like 'keep truckin' would struggle to hire skilled programmers.
AN: This would delay thier projects, which would affect their brand image and reputation badly, due to which lesser people would invest in them, therefore they would have problems to maintain costs leading to future survival being insecure.

[KN] Skilled labor is a scarce resource.
[APP] For example, a software company lacking skilled workers may struggle to adopt advanced coding programs, potentially relying on outdated systems.
[AN] Consequently, if competitors launch innovative software, the company could experience decreased sales, lower profits, and subsequent financial difficulties.
