[KN]: A country might move from primary to secondary sector as there is higher profit in manufacturing.
[App]: For example, a factory turning raw wood into furniture and selling it will gain more profit than selling raw wood.
[AN]: Thus, this encourages investment in factories as higher profit is made. The product made can now be sold at a higher price as value is added to the product by secondary sector so customers will be willing to pay a higher amount this also leads to long term growth of the business.

k : A country might move from the primary to the secondary sector because manufacturing creates more value and higher incomes than farming or mining.
App: For example, China shifted from farming to factory production of electronics and cars.
AN (3 bounces): This creates more jobs in cities, attracts foreign investment, and helps the economy grow faster than relying only on raw materials.

As a country develops, it invests in machinery and technology, need for workers decrease for example in farming treactors are used and few farmers are needed, eventually pushing workers to gain training and secure a job in the secondary sector which pays more then the primary sector jobs, this would give them more money to spend on themselves, and improve there living standards, this also increases the industries capacity to produce as it has more workers which can now work and produce more, resulting it demands being meet and customers being satisfied.
Rising income would increase demand for urban good for example cars, this encourages investors to invest in secondary sector to meet demand in which the business could gain revenue but also decrease the chances of letting multinational companies establish and steal your customer or start a monoply, it the long run if the company meets customer demands on time, it would create a reputation and establish a loyal customer base, increasing the chances of gaining market share.

[kn] One reason is economic development, where industrialisation allows countries to add more value to raw materials [app] For example, a country that exports raw cotton may shift towards producing textiles and clothing in factories [an] This enables the country to generate higher revenue , It can also increase employment opportunities in urban areas , Over time, this may attract foreign direct investment
[an+] However, while industrialisation boosts GDP, it may lead to overdependence on factories , There could also be environmental costs and In the long term, workers may need to upskill

[kn] Another reason is declining returns from the primary sector, often caused by resource depletion or poor global prices for raw goods
[app] For instance, if a country’s fish stocks fall or global oil prices decline, it may encourage the government to promote industrialisation.
[an] By diversifying into manufacturing, the country can stabilise its economy , It also allows for better use of technology and This transition may encourage urbanisation
[an+] Yet, rapid industrialisation can cause social issues , Countries may also face international competition and If industrial growth is not carefully managed, it could lead to a “dual economy”

[KN] Secondary sector growth can create more jobs and higher incomes than the primary sector.

[APP] For example, instead of only exporting cotton, India developed textile factories to produce clothing.

[AN] This shift adds more value to raw materials, increases exports, and helps the country’s economy grow faster.

[KN] Higher profits can be generated in manufacturing industries.
[APP] For example, a country can make more money by processing raw materials into finished goods, such as turning cotton into clothing.
[AN+] This encourages investment in factories, creates more jobs, and allows for the sale of products at higher prices due to the added value, leading to long-term business growth.
[AN+] Furthermore the unemployment would reduce resulting in low government spending on unemployment benefits hence spending on other objective such as hospitals leading towards economic growth.

[KN] Goods can be exported into other countries boosting foreign exchange.
[APP] For instance, when a country moves from primary to secondary, it could specialize in manufacturing goods like textiles or electronics, which are then exported. This generates revenue in foreign currencies, allowing the country to import essential raw materials or technology it lacks.
[AN+] Hence it will improve quality allowing business to charge higher prices resulting in an increase in profits and sales.
[AN+] Furthermore by seeing an incentive to earn multinationals would start manufacturing in your country hence increasing economic growth.

(KN): A country may shift from the primary to the secondary sector because manufacturing can generate higher profits than raw material extraction.
(APP): For example turning cotton into clothes is more profitable than selling raw cotton this encourages businesses to invest in factories which creates more opportunities for growth leading to an increase in income for both businesses and workers.
(AN): As a result the economy benefits from higher value added production which boosts GDP.
(AN+): This also improves the country’s global competitiveness since manufactured goods often bring in more foreign exchange than primary products.

(KN): Another reason for moving towards the secondary sector is that it creates more employment opportunities.
(APP): For example building new factories provides many jobs for local workers this reduces unemployment rates which raises household incomes and increases consumer spending in the economy.
(AN): As a result the government gains higher tax revenues from both businesses and employees.
(AN+): This extra income can then be reinvested into infrastructure such as roads and power supplies which further supports industrial growth

[KN]Because of industrialization
[APP]As technology and machinery improves countries invest in factories and industries to process raw materials rather than exporting them.
[AN]This helps to create more job oppurtunities hence leading to a rise in skilled labour and thus reduce poverty which will help to improve the countrys GDP.

KN: A country might shift from primary sector to secondary sector in order to earn more profit.
APP: for example a country like pakistan produces rock salt and exports it to other countries. If pakistan processes the rock salt into reined powder form and packages it, it will add value to the salt.
AN: This allows the country to charge higher prices and earn more profits, which will allow it to expand its other industries and allow betterment of public services.

[KN] Industrialisation creates higher value-added output, more jobs, and faster economic growth.
[APP] For example, instead of exporting raw cotton, a country can build textile factories to produce clothing, which sells for a much higher price in international markets. This shift creates employment opportunities in manufacturing, raising incomes and reducing poverty.
[AN] Therefore, moving from the primary to the secondary sector allows a country to diversify its economy, become less reliant on raw materials, and achieve sustained economic development.

[KN] Manufacturing can often generates more profit than simply selling raw materials.
[APP] For example, turning cotton into clothes adds value compared to just selling raw cotton.
[AN] This means businesses and the economy can earn higher revenue which allows reinvestment into industries creating more growth opportunities.
[AN+] As a result, the country may shift its focus away from farming and extraction towards factories, since this sector is more beneficial in long term.

[KN] The secondary sector usually creates more secure and higher-paying jobs than the primary sector.
[APP] For instance, new factories being set up can employ hundreds of workers compared to farms which rely on machinery instead.
[AN] This reduces unemployment improves living standards and can enhance the GDP of the country.
[AN+] With time, this encourages industrialisation as the economy depends more on manufacturing and less on primary production.

{KN}Improvements in technology in farming and mining fewer workers needed in primary industries.
{APP}For instance, in India, the use of modern tractors and harvesters has reduced the number of people needed on farms.
{AN}This means surplus labour moves into service jobs such as retail or IT, leading to growth of the tertiary sector and a decline in primary employment.
{KN}Globalisation countries specialise and move towards exporting services
{APP}For example, has become a global hub for IT outsourcing and call centres, serving clients in the USA and Europe.
{AN}This shift reduces reliance on agriculture and increases foreign exchange earnings from services, helping the economy transition towards the tertiary sector.

[KN] Because it creates higher value products than raw materials.
[APP] For example, a country can produce textiles or clothing instead of just cotton.
[AN] This increases income because finished goods can be sold at higher prices, which helps the economy grow and generate more profit.

[KN] Because it provides more jobs and higher wages than farming.
[APP] As factories open, people move from rural areas to cities for work.
[AN] This reduces reliance on agriculture and improves living standards, while also supporting urban development and infrastructure growth.

FIRST
[KN] Countries often shift from the primary to the secondary sector because manufacturing adds more value than raw materials.
[APP] For example, instead of just exporting raw cotton, a country can turn it into textiles.
[AN]This allows it to sell products at higher prices and earn more money from trade.
[AN+]Over time, this helps the economy grow more strongly and compete better in global markets.
SECOND
[KN]Another reason is that industrialisation provides more job opportunities.
[APP] For instance, building car factories or electronics plants gives work to people moving out of farming.
[AN]This helps reduce unemployment and improves people’s living standards as they earn steady wages.
[AN+] In the long run, it also lowers poverty levels and supports urban growth, making the economy more stable.
