[kn] its owned by one person and managed by them.
[app] for example, a local restaurant ran by one person, he will make all the decisions.
[an+] the sole trader will have unlimited liability, he will be responsible for any business debts and can be independent.

Re: 18 Outline one feature (advantage) of a sole trader
KN: In a sole trader business, the owner alone has the complete authority over decision making.
APP: For instance, a toy manufacturer won't have to discuss the new designs of the toys he wants to introduce with anyone before making the decision.
AN: Due to this, the decision making process will be quicker and the business will be able to respond more quickly and efficiently to the dynamic environment, meeting the trends,, due to which they will be able to maintain a steady customer base, ensuring sales, therefore revenue too, leading to higher profit margins.

[KN]A sole trader business is owned and controlled by one person
[ANN]For example a toy store is owned by one person and they are in charge of making all the business decisions themselves

[KN] A feature of a sole trader is that they have full control over their business.
[APP]For example, the owner can make all decisions quickly without needing to ask anyone else.
[AN]This is an advantage because it allows the business to respond fast to customer needs, make changes easily, and save time since no approval is needed from partners.

[KN] In a sole trader business, the owner has complete control.
[APP] This makes decision making easier as the owner does not have to consult with other shareholders, making it less time consuming and allowing the business to quickly make changes, such as buying new machinery.
[AN] This quick decision making will help the business purchase the new machinery as quick as possible which would help improve efficiency and quality of products, increasing customer satisfaction.

KN: A sole trader is easy to set up and the owner keeps all profits and control.
APP: for e.g... a baker runs the stall alone and decides everything about products and hours.
AN:this leads to quick decisions and direct reward from sales. But the owner bears all risk and personal assets can be at stake. Growth may be limited by the owner’s time. there is liability.

[KN] Decisions are made quicker.
[APP] Since, there is only one owner of the business hence there is only need of one person approval rather many which slow down the decision making.
[AN] Thus the production would be faster and would be meeting the cutomer need quicker resulting in increase in sale and cutomer base.

[KN]: One advantage of a sole trader is that they keep all the profit to themselves.
[APP]: For example, if a baker starts a business by themselves they can enhance the ambience of the bakery by the profit they gain and can also buy more machinery which would help them in baking.
[AN]: Thus, this would lead to more sales as the ambience and quality of product would become better, it would further also lead to customer loyalty as the previous customers now can see the business being more developed which helps the business to stay competitive in the market.

Re: 18 Outline one feature (advantage) of a sole trader
(KN) The owner can take decisions without having to consult any other partner.
(APP) For example, the owner of a newly set up sole trader business has the freedom to decide whether or not they have to employ a few more workers into the business without having to discuss with anyone else.
(AN) This means there would be no disagreements, leading to high efficiency of the business, which would eventually lead the business to achieving economies of scale.
