Re: 01 Explain how number of employees can be used to measure business size
[KN] The number of employees can be used to measure business size as larger firms usually hire more workers for production.
[APP] For instance, a large bakery with many branches in the country would employ many workers to produce, distribute to branches and sell to customers if compared to a smaller startup bakery with only one branch which would employ less workers.
[AN] Having a larger employee base increases production capacity and decreases the burden on the employees, motivating them to work, improving efficiency of the bakery.

Re: 01 Explain how number of employees can be used to measure business size
(KN) Businesses that employ workers in larger numbers are usually bigger than those that employ a smaller number of workers.
(APP) For example, a large car manufacturing company may employ many workers from around the world to help make the business very efficient. On the other hand, a small car repairing business would employ a lot less workers due to many reasons such as a limited budget or the less requirement of employing workers itself.
(AN) This means that large businesses usually tend to employ more workers as their large size comes with increased tasks and responsibilities that are needed to be fulfilled, unlike smaller businesses. Furthermore, the increased efficiency from employing more workers would lead to customer demands being fulfilled quicker, leading to customer satisfaction. And this eventually becomes a reason of more loyal customers for large businesses; a feature that smaller businesses are not lucky enough to get.

[KN] Businesses that employ workers in larger numbers are usually bigger than those that employ a smaller number of workers.
[APP]e.g.A local bakery may have 5 employees where as a supermarket like tesco may have thousands.
[AN] The larger number of employees means that business can serve more customers at once leading towards increased sales and increased customer satisfaction.

[KN]Larger businesses have more workers than small businesses.
[APP]For example a small restaurant may require less workers because of less demand than a large restaurant with more customers.
[AN]A higher number of workers leads to higher productive capacity of the economy which leads to efficiency leading to good quality output resulting in higher sales.

Re: 01 Explain how number of employees can be used to measure business size
K: The number of employees can be used to measure business size because larger firms usually need more workers to run operations.
App: For example, a big car manufacturing company employs thousands of workers, while a small bakery may only have a few.
An: This helps compare how large or small a business is, shows the scale of operations, and indicates how much labour the business depends on.

Re: 01 Explain how number of employees can be used to measure business size
KN: The number of employees measures how many workers a business employs, showing the scale of its operations.
App: For example, a large airline like Emirates employs thousands of staff worldwide.
An: A higher number of employees usually means a larger production capacity and wider operations, but it may not always reflect efficiency or profitability.

Re: 01 Explain how number of employees can be used to measure business size
KN: The number of employees shows how big a business is. A larger business usually has more workers, while a smaller one has fewer because it has less work to do.
APP: E.g, a small bakery might have 5 workers, but a big company has thousands around the world. This shows a big difference in business size.
AN: However this isn't always perfect because some big firms use machines instead of people, and small ones might need more workers. So it's a good measure, but not the only one to judge business size.

Re: 01 Explain how number of employees can be used to measure business size
[KN]: Higher the number of employees shows that the business is larger as greater businesses require more employees to manage work than small businesses.
[APP]: For example, a large furniture factory would have many employees so that the work could be equally distributed among them which would also help business be more efficient while a small furniture business would have less employees due to limited budget.
[AN]: Thus, more employees lead to work being done quicker, which leads to customer being satisfied which further leads to customer loyalty and long term growth of business while on the other hand, having less employees lead to more work burden on people which further leads to demotivation and failure of business.

KN number of employees can be used to measure a size of business as it shows if the business is small, large or medium APP for example a clothing factory has 1000 employees, AN a higher number of employees show the greater resources and capacity to work and produce product, this also shows the capacity of also taking up larger order.

Re: 01 Explain how number of employees can be used to measure business size
[KN] = The number of employees is used to measure the size of a labor intensive business. The more the number of employees, the larger the business would be
[APP] = For example, a clothing factory with hundreds of employees is considered larger than a clothing shop with only few employees
[AN] = Higher number of employees shows that the business has greater production capacity and can meet large scale demands. It also shows that the business provides more job opportunities, which helps to reduce unemployment and poverty in the society. It also shows that the business earns higher revenue. More employees also increases the efficiency through division of labour, which leads to better product quality, so it satisfies more customers and so also improve customer loyalty.
