Re: 02 Explain how 'value of sales' can be used to measure business size.
[KN] The value of sales measures business size by showing how much income a company generates from selling its goods or services which can be compared to other companies.
[APP] For instance, Samsung has a high value of sales because its smartphones are sold worldwide, showing large customer demand.
[AN] This global demand increases total revenue leads to higher profits which builds stronger brand recognition which attracts more investors which funds new product innovation and helps the business expand its market share.

kn]value of sales shows the revenue of the business, greater revenue means bigger firm
app]for example, clarks earn millions per annum in terms of revenue while a small compony might earn thousands.
an]this means business with more revenue will have better brand image because of which more customers are attracted, leading towards brand loyalty, which will give the business edge over competitors in terms of branding and marketing, which will increase market share and hence can lead towards taking over the whole monopoly.

[KN] Businesses with larger value of sales are usually bigger than those that have a smaller value of sales.
[APP] A small clothing shop may have annual sales of £50,000, whereas a multinational company like Nike has sales in the billions
[AN] A high value of sales indicates the business has strong customer demand showing its wide market reach moreover by this the business can reinvest e.g. marketing and advertisement which increases business competitive power.

Re: 02 Explain how 'value of sales' can be used to measure business size.
[KN] The value of sales means how much money a business makes by selling its goods or services.
[AP] For example, a big company like Apple makes way more money from sales compared to a small local shop.
[AN] If a business has high sales, it usually means it’s bigger because it sells more products, has more customers , and earns more revenue. But at the same time, high sales don’t always mean high profit some businesses sell a lot but have big costs so sales alone don’t always show the full size.

[KN]Large businesses have a high value of sales than smaller businesses.

K: The value of sales can be used to measure business size because it shows how much money a business earns from selling its goods or services.
App: For example, a supermarket chain with high sales income is usually larger than a small local shop.
An: It helps compare the success of businesses, shows their share in the market, and reflects how strong their customer demand is.

KN: The value of sales revenue shows how much income a business earns from selling goods and services.
App: For example, Apple earns hundreds of billions of dollars in sales annually, showing it is a very large business.
An: A higher sales value indicates large market demand and strong market presence, reflecting the overall size and success of the firm.

Re: 02 Explain how 'value of sales' can be used to measure business size.
KN: The value of sales shows how much money a business makes from selling its products. Bigger businesses usually have higher sales than smaller ones.
APP: E.g a small might earn 5000 dollars a month, while a big company earns millions. This shows why the big business is BIG.
AN: But this isn't always the case. A small business could sell expensive items and have high sales. So, it's a good measure, but should be used with other factors too.

[KN]: Value of sales is used to measure the size of business as it shows how much revenue the business earns.
[APP]: For example, a large supermarket like carrefour might be earning in billions in sales each year while a smaller business like lulu might only be earning in few thousands.
[AN]: Thus, higher value of sales means business is larger, more efficient, sells more products and has greater share in market which leads to long term survival and growth of business.

KN value of sales can be a measure of a size of business in a way that the sales generate by a small business and large business is different APP for example a large clothing stores make sals for $100 million where as a small business makes a profit of $5000, AN High sales shows the business capacity to produce and sell more product also reflecting the influence it has in the market, furthermore it indicats there financial strength or potential growth for the business

[KN] = The value of sales is used to measure the size of a business as it shows how much revenue a business has earned. The larger the value of sales, the larger the business is.
[APP] = For example, a company like Nestle with millions of USD in annual sales is considered much larger than a small local shop with only thousands of USD in annual sales.
[AN] = High values of sales shows that the business have strong customer base in the market. Larger values of sales also shows that the business have bigger market share. It also shows the business financial stability and ability to reinvest in future

Re: 02 Explain how 'value of sales' can be used to measure business size.
KN: The value of sales can be used to measure the size of the business as the businesses which have a higher value of sales/revenue are usually larger than those with a lesser value of sales.
APP: For instance, a luxury watch brand sells watches worth billions whereas a local seller will be able to sell watches worth millions or thousands.
AN: Due to this, the luxury brand will be able to take more risks as they would have more revenue due to which they would avail more opportunities like expansion, which will increase their customer base, increasing sales and market share, due to which they can charge higher prices from their customers, enabling them to earn a higher profit margin and ensuring long term survival, making them a larger business. However, this is difficult for the local seller as they would not usually have enough finance earned from their sales for better marketing, leading towards a non-existing or poor brand image.

[KN] It is used to measure the size of a business because it shows how much revenue the business earns.
[APP] For instance a large business like Nike earns in millions which is far more than a normal local shoes business which may be facing hardship to meet cost.
[AN] Thus this shows that larger businesses earn more due to higher revenus than a small business, also they have a larger customer base too with better brand image.

Re: 02 Explain how 'value of sales' can be used to measure business size.
KN: Value of sales is a measure as a higher revenue means the business is larger
APP: E.g. if a buisness eg Apple is earning millions of dollar annually compared to Nokia which currently might be earning much less, Apple would be the larger buisness
AN: This is because a larger revenue means the business can reinvest more into the buisness hence will be able to have more employees and overall more market share aswell, and also more revenue is only possible when there is a decently large workforce, technology, branches etc therefore indicating the business is larger.

Re: 02 Explain how 'value of sales' can be used to measure business size.
KN: The value of sales can be used to measure business size as sales allow to determine total sales and income and determine its market presence.
APP: For example a smart phone company generates billions in revenue being a large compnay while a small smart phone company generates less income indicating it as a small comany.
AN: A large revenue shows a large market share and customer demand towards the business, It also allows business to benefit from economies of scale, reducing costs and increasing profiatbility, however sales alone can not determine size of business as we can not tell if a business is running on thin margins.
