KN:One way the economic problem affects a small coffee shop owner is that skilled labour is limited.
APP: Food instance, there are not enough skilled waiters who know how to deal with all the customers.
AN: This would limit the number of orders they could fulfil in a day which would limit their sales and, thus, revenue and profit, due to which the long term survival may not be ensured.

[KN] The economic problem means that with limited resources, businesses are forced to make decisions.
[APP] For instance, a small coffee shop might only have enough funds to purchase either a new coffee machine or a new oven but can not afford both.
[AN] This impacts the owner because they have to choose the option that will generate the highest returns. Selecting one means giving up the other, which is the opportunity cost, and this choice will influence the shop’s productivity and the overall customer experience.

(kn) The economic problem arises when there are limited resources but unlimited wants so people are forced to make choices.
(app) The coffee shop owner may be forced to choose between hiring a new employee to help with the workload or buying a new coffee machine since they have limited funds.
(an) This will force the owner to make a decision that brings the most benefit to the shop. such as improving service speed or increasing customer satisfaction, helping them make better use of limited resources.

( KN) A small coffee shop owner faces the economic problem because they have limited resources and can’t afford everything they want.
(APP) For example, they might only have enough money to buy a new coffee machine or a get an oven together. This means they must choose the option that will help them earn the most profit, such as the machine that serves more customers or improves product quality.
(AN) So the economic problem forces them to make decisions about how to use their resources in the most efficient way.

[KN] The economic problem means limited resources so businesses are forced to make choices.
[APP] For instance, a small coffee shop may only have enough money to either buy a new coffee machine or a new oven but cant buy both at the same time.
[AN] This forces the owner to make one rightful decision considering which option will benefit the business more while sacrificing the other option because of limited funds.

[KN] Economic problem is when the wants are unlimited but the resources required to produce them are limited
[APP] For example, due to limited funds a small coffee shop owner could only buy a new machine or expand the size of his shop
[AN] Choosing to buy new machinery would give more verity in drinks and attract more customer. However the owner should chose the option that would increase profit the most, which also shows how scarcity leads towards economic problem

(KN)
The economic problem is that there are not enough resources to make everything people want.
(APP)
For a small coffee shop owner , this could mean not having enough money to buy all the new machines or hire many workers.
(AN)
Because of this , the owner has to choose carefully, like buying a coffee machine instead of more chairs. This affects how well the shop servers customers and how much profit it can make.

[KN] The economic problem is scarcity which is limited resources.
[APP] For instance, owner of a cafe is confused between buying a new and improved coffee machine or a oven.Due to limited resources he can not buy both. If he decides to buy the oven, the coffee machine is his opporunity cost.
[AN] Thus due to addition in his menu buy making more things other than coffee, this will increase his sales leading to higher profit which can help him buy the coffee machine in the future.

The economic problem affects a coffee shop owner because limited resources force choices. For example, they may only have enough money to buy either a new coffee machine or a new oven. This means they must choose the option that is likely to increase profits the most.

KN: The economic problem affects a small coffee shop because limited resources (time, money, staff) force choices about menu and hours. The shop owner doesn't have unliimited resources.

APP for eg. a shop must choose to buy better beans or hire another barista, it can't do both easily which could be due to a lack of funds.
AN Scarcity limits growth and forces tradeoffs that affect profit and customer service, so owners prioritise.

[KN] The economic problem affects a small coffee shop because there are not enough resources to meet all the shops needs and wants at the same time
[APP] the owner might have to decide between spending money on renovating the cafe to attract more customers or buying premium ingredients for the drinks.
[AN] this means the owner cannot satisfy every goal at once and must carefully decide which option will benefit the business most.

KN: They will have limited sales on expensive products
APP: Example, their more expensive products like cheesecake etc will start to sell out less wheras cheaper coffee will sell out more
AN: This is because people have limited resources/funds hence will spend on cheaper products. This will lead to their being more stock than sales for the expensive products of the coffee shop, therefore these products may go to waste/spoiled as they are baked etc goods, hence will be a loss of resources for the shop owner and can even leave a bad impression on the customers if they are seen, hence can threaten the business credibility and lead to a decline in income and may even cause it to go in loss.

[KN] economic problem is having limited resources mainly in terms of money
[APP] for example buy a new machine of coffee instead of adverting the brand
[AN] this step will attract more customers who want to sit and more attraction and name of their cafe would be more popular leading to more sales ending the economic problem in short

Examiner Comments:
KN & APP is fine
Updated AN: New machine >> additional variety of coffee >> increase consumers (takeaways) >> word of mouth advertising (free), gradually increase in sales
