[KN] An inflexible workforce cannot easily adapt when the business changes its production process or product type
[APP] if a smartphone company introduces a new design but workers are only trained to make the old model, they will struggle to adjust to the new production steps
[AN] This slows down output and can cause mistakes, leading to lower productivity and delays in delivering new products to the market, reducing competitiveness.

[KN] An inflexible workforce can increase overall business costs.
[APP] in a clothing factory, if workers can only sew but not cut fabric or handle machines, the business may need to hire more people or pay overtime to meet production targets.
[AN] This raises labor expenses, reduces profit margins and limits the businesss ability to invest in better equipment or expansion

1. [KN] An inflexible workforce means employees cannot easily change roles or working hours.
[APP] For example, if demand suddenly increases, workers may not be able to work overtime or take on new tasks.
[AN] This can lead to production delays and lost sales opportunities.
2. [KN] Inflexibility also makes it difficult for a business to adapt to changes.
[APP] For instance, if new machinery or technology is introduced, employees may struggle to adjust.
[AN] This can reduce efficiency and increase training or hiring costs.

[KN] Inflexible workforce means not adaptable to the changes in business. Inflexible workforce would make business not to meet changing consumer demands.
[APP] For example; if a worker working on stitching of clothing is asked to work on packaging for some days as the other employee is on leave.
[AN] This would lower the productivity of the employee, as the employee is not trained with the packaging method, also they won't be motivated as they are not ready to adapt leading towards lower quality of work.

[KN] business have to use training method to train workforce for new tasks
[APP] for exp if production method is changed to automatic from manual so have to train
[AN] training method is costly & time consuming for business; leading towards lower productivity; which would increase the cost of production for the business.
