Re: 02 Explain any two Mintzberg's Role of Management [8]
(KN) One decisional role according to Mintzberg's role of management is of an entrepreneur, who is responsible for exploring new ways and opportunities for the development of a company.
(APP) For example, a grocery store manager decides to start offering delivery services to increases sales.
(AN) This would act as an added value for the business as customers would be willing to pay more for the convenience, leading to a higher gross profit, which would eventually lead to a higher net profit, meaning cash flow problems can be avoided, leading to on time payments to suppliers.
(AN+) This would mean a long term good relationship can be made with the suppliers, leading to more trade discounts in the future.
(KN) Another decisional role according to Mintzberg's role of management is of a resource allocator, who allocates each type of resource to different departments according to their priority.
(APP) For example, the manager decides to assign more employees to the cashier area during peak hours (evenings and weekends) and less staff during quiet hours.
(AN) This would ensure an efficient way of allocating tasks, leading to less wastages and a better quantity of output to be produced when it most matters.
(AN+) This means customers can avoid long waiting times to get to the cashier, saving their precious time, making many customers loyal with the business.

Re: 02 Explain any two Mintzberg's Role of Management [8]
Ans:
KN: One of the informational role was Monitoring, which is collecting information from both internal and external sources to stay updated about the organisations operations.
APP: For example reviewing how many orders come in for different T-shirts, how many get delayed or returned, and what kind of products are selling best.
AN:This role is important because gathering accurate information allow the manager to detect problems early, by constantly observing performance and market trends, the manager can ensure decisions are based on facts rather than assumptions or emotions.
AN+: furthermore, When the same Motoring function is applied outside of the organization, this helps to remain competitive, because managers can respond quickly to environmental changes, which reduces risk of losing competitiveness.
KN: Disseminator jobs is to transmit information to the employees of the company so that they become aware and well- informed.
APP: For example a store manager learns from head-office that a new promotional discount will start from next week then the manager will transmit the information to the employees (in its retail outlets) so that they can prepare and inform the customers now this ensures that sale runs smoothly.
AN: When employees receive timely information they feel engaged and motivated because they understand the task. This leads to better teamwork and fewer mistakes.
AN+: Also, this would encourage democratic environment which means "employee empowerment" is increased. This would not only help business getting new ideas but increased employee retention as well. In the longer run business would be able to develop a culture based on creativity and innovation.

Re: 02 Explain any two Mintzberg's Role of Management [8]
KN: According to Mintzberg, the Leader role means guiding, motivating, and supporting employees so they work towards the organisation’s goals. A manager encourages the team, gives direction, and helps solve problems .
APP: For example, at Google, team leaders hold regular meetings to motivate employees and keep them focused on developing new features for products like Google Maps.
AN: This role is important because motivated employees work better, stay committed, and complete tasks on time, which helps the business achieve its objectives.
AN+: In the long run, strong leadership builds a positive work culture, reduces staff turnover, and ensures the business remains innovative and competitive.
KN: Mintzberg says that as a Resource Allocator, a manager decides how resources such as money, staff, and equipment are shared across the organisation. They choose which projects get more funding and which tasks are a priority .
APP: For example, at Samsung, managers allocate more budget and skilled employees to the development of new smartphone models before each big release.
AN: This role matters because giving the right resources to the right project helps the business work efficiently and meet deadlines.
AN+: Over time, effective resource allocation allows the business to avoid waste, focus on its most successful products, and stay ahead of its competitors

Re: 02 Explain any two Mintzberg's Role of Management [8]
KN1: one of the roles specified is the decisional role in which the manager has to be a disturbance handler.
APP: For instance, if a new competitor jumps in the manager of a jewlery brand shold know to introduce mew designs or decrease prices and if a global pandamic like COVID-19 hits then they should switch to online services immidiately instead of panicking.
AN: Due to this the busineess will be able to respond to the dynamic business environment efficiently causing the least possible wastage/loss of maintain the current sales and revenue generated which can later be used to reinvest in the business to do intensive marketing or to expand which will increase the customer base and therefore the profit margins too.
AN+: Therefore the manger being able to respond efficently to changes helps a business survive and grow in the market.
KN2: Another quality which the decisional roles reqire in a manager is for them to be an excellent negtiator.
APP: For example the manager of the jewlery manufacturer shoul be able to represent the firm in the market effectively and should be able to reach common grounds which benefit them while making deals.
AN: Due to this they will be able to be on good terms with their suppliers, due to which they can get the raw materials like metal, stones on time and reasonable prices which will allow them to offer the final product/piece to the customer at a relatively lower price giving them a competitve edge.
AN+: this will improve their overall brand image with the customers and in the market as well.

Re: 02 Explain any two Mintzberg's Role of Management [8]
kn] Mintzberg role of management includes entrepreneur which task is to make decisions in business for efficient management
ap] for e.g. a grocery store entrepreneur make decisions to train employes for better salesman techniques
an] because of entrepreneur business will be responding quick to solve a certain problem business faces for his good customer satisfaction and high sales this reduces errors in business as quick decision making is there and there is someone to guide and motivate employ for business objectives or task completion
an+] this reduces mismanagement in the business as entrepreneur are mostly expert in business terms of decision making so any mishap will be minimized
kn] resource allocater use the resources at right place to benefit the business and minimize wastage
ap] for e.g. in leather factory resource allocater reuse the wastage of leather left behind while making shoes use it for making leather wallets by them
an] this will increase profit margin for the business as wastage will be reduces and business will be working more efficinetly by using the resources at right place in business

Re: 02 Explain any two Mintzberg's Role of Management [8]
KN] Entrepreneur; means taking new opportunities for the business improvement.
APP] for e.g. grocery store owner make additional variety (with sustained quality) in his store
AN] This will improve business sales and if they buy repeatedly and the quality remains good, they will become a loyal consumer. Now the business can charge high prices because of the strong brand image.
AN+] In the long-run, if the entrepreneur keeps offering variety according to the consumer demands, it will become the "core-competency" of the business. Also, this would increase the competitiveness of the business based on first mover benefit.
KN] Resource allocator's role is to manage the resources and use them in right place with minimum wastage.
APP] for e.g. in a grocery store there are certain products which are sold less in quantity against others, such products should have "lower buffer levels".
AN] This means business will be efficiently using the cash in inventories, this would help buying more variety of products (electronic products with grocery). This additional variety would attract additional customer segments towards the store.
AN+] Also, with efficient cash flow management if there is a recession /higher competition in the markets the store can easily manage the expenses against the inefficient stores.
