KN: One disadvantage of laissez faire leadership is that employees receive very little guidance from managers, which can cause confusion and mistakes when tasks are not clearly explained.

APP: In a healthcare service, nurses and junior medical staff may not know exactly how to handle certain procedures or how to prioritise patient cases if the manager does not give clear instructions.

AN: This can be dangerous because healthcare decisions often involve medication, treatment timings, and emergency actions. Without clear direction, the chance of errors increases.

AN+: In the long run, this lack of guidance can reduce patient safety, lower service quality, and damage the reputation of the healthcare organisation if patients do not receive consistent or accurate care.

KN: Another disadvantage is that laissez faire leadership can lead to poor coordination because everyone works independently and may follow their own methods rather than a standard approach.

APP: In a hospital or clinic, doctors, nurses, and support staff may handle patient files, treatment plans, and equipment differently if managers do not set clear systems.

AN: This creates confusion, delays, and miscommunication between departments, which slows down treatment and makes healthcare delivery less efficient.

AN+: Over time, this weak coordination can lead to longer patient waiting times, lost medical information, and frustration among staff, which weakens the overall performance of the healthcare service.

kn] can be dangerous for the patient as employ might be less experienced as manager is not supervising it
ap] for e.g. in hospital a uexperienced heart surgeon is taking a heart surgery with zero supervising this can cause a serious issue for patient and hospital might get sealed
an] this can cause a serious issue for patient and hospital might get sealed and owner of hospital might face a legal issue ad ca get in jail for it
an+] this will make the employ and manager get in jail for whole life if patient get died

kn2] laissez faire leadership can cause poor coordination among the staff in hospital which would create misconception and confusion while treating a patient
ap] for e.g. when a patient is treated nurse, doctors and staff get in cordination and then decide to make a action for the patient when no coordination this will not let them able to treat the patient properly
an] this will make the patient uncomfortable and worried in a confuse environment where everyone is giving there own opinions and this will decrease decision making in the hospital as per independent staff, this will make the reputation of the hospital corrupt decreasing the customer base for them
an+] this can cause a legal issue if staff make a mistake regarding patient health and a patient might suffer from any casualty

[KN] lack of direction and guidance.
[APP]For example, in a healthcare clinic, if the manager uses a laissez-faire style, nurses and support staff may be unsure about treatment procedures or reporting protocols because the leader does not provide clear instructions.
[AN]This can slow down patient care and create confusion among employees who rely on guidance for accurate and safe service delivery as well as which increases the risk of mistakes or delays during treatments and these issues build up, the overall quality of service may drop, damaging the clinic’s reputation and reducing patient trust.
[AN+]This leadership approach can be especially harmful in healthcare where accuracy, speed, and compliance with protocols are essential.

[KN] it may cause reduced productivity
[APP]For example, in a dental clinic, if the dentist-owner uses a laissez-faire style and lets receptionists and dental assistants manage appointments and patient flow without any guidance, staff may schedule treatments inefficiently.
[AN]Laissez-faire leadership can cause problems because staff may be unsure about expected standards as this uncertainty can lead to uneven quality in patient interactions and support tasks which eventually affects how smoothly the clinic operates and how satisfied patients feel.
[AN+]Furthermore, without regular oversight, essential compliance tasks like maintaining sterilisation logs or updating patient records may be neglected thus This increases operational risk and can directly harm the clinic’s professional reputation and patient safety.
